The Cost of Installation
1. Mongoose Car alarm.
a. M60B. This alarm is NZ insurance approved car alarm with 4 stars rating. It has 2 immobilisers and black wiring. The alarm can work with an external car Turbo Timer, also it has a built-in turbo timer. Installed price from $418 inclusive.
b. M60G. It is NZ insurance approved car alarm with 5 stars rating. It has 2 immobilisers and black wiring, a glass break sensor, and a back-up siren. The alarm can work with an external car Turbo Timer, also it has a built-in turbo timer. Installed price from $488 inclusive.
c. M80G II. It is a 2 in 1 NZ insurance approved car alarm with 5 stars rating. It has 3 immobilisers and black wiring, a glass break sensor, and a back-up siren. This car alarm can be controlled by the alarm remotes, also can be controlled by car key remote (MAP mode, Option). Installed price from $558 inclusive.
d. M20. This is a 24V car alarm, especially is used for 24 volt vehicles. It has a single immobiliser. Installed price from $318 inclusive.
2. AVS Car Alarm.
a. AVS A4. It is NZ insurance approved car alarm with 4 stars rating. It has 2 immobilisers, black wiring, and a back-up siren. The alarm has Courier mode which works with courier vehicles, also it has MAP function in which the alarm can be controlled by car key remote (Option). The alarm also has an interface for car turbo timer. Installed price $468 inclusive.
b. AVS A5. It is a NZ Insurance approved car alarm with 5 stars rating. It has 2 immobilizers, black wiring, and a glass break sensor and back-up siren. The alarm has Courier mode which works with a courier vehicle; also, it has MAP function in which the alarm can be controlled by car key remote (Option). The alarm also has an interface for car turbo timer. Installed price from $518 inclusive.
c. AVS 3010. This is a basic model of AVS car alarm. It has 2 immobilisers, a sock sensor and normal siren. Installed price from$298 inclusive.
d. AVS 3010+. There are 2 immobilizers in this alarm. It has a sock sensor and back-up siren. Installed price from $318 inclusive.
e. AVS C4. This alarm works with the car Can-bus system for most of the European and American cars, also, some of the new models of Japanese cars. Normally this Can-bus alarm is controlled by a car key remote, but it can be added 2 remotes with an additional charge of $110 NZD. The alarm has 2 ultrasonic sensors. Installed price from $488 inclusive.
f. AVS S5. This alarm is NZ insurance approved car alarm with 5 stars rating. It has 3 immobilizers and black wiring, a Tilt sensor for protecting the car from towing and a back-up siren. The alarm has Courier mode which works with courier vehicles, also it has MAP function in which the alarm can be controlled by car key remote (Option). Installed price from $558 inclusive.
3. SOUNDTECH Car Alarm.
a. SOUNDTECH VS-968. The alarm is a basic car alarm with a single immobilizer. It has a very good sock sensor and door protection. Installed price from $258 inclusive.
b. SOUNDTECH IK7. This car alarm is a basic one with a single immobilizer. But it has a special function with remote sensing car doors lock /unlock – automatically lock all doors /arm the alarm when walking away from the car; auto unlock /disarm the alarm when approaching the car. Installed price from $318 inclusive.
c. SOUNDTECH New DC-5. This alarm is called “remote engine start car alarm”. It can start your car by the alarm remote, but it can only be installed to the car without its own security system, normally for old models of vehicles. Installed Price from $318 inclusive.
d. SOUNDTECH 3000H. This is a 24V car alarm with a single immobiliser. It has a sock sensor and door protection. It is only for 24 volt trucks. Installed price from $298 inclusive.
e. SOUNDTECH (PLC) Pager Alarm. The remote for this alarm is specially designed with a small LCD. The remote will make beeping and show hammer striking or door opening once the alarm is triggered in distance from 150 – 200 meters range. Installed price from $288 inclusive.
4. UNIDEN Car Alarm.
a. Uniden VS2600XR. It is NZ insurance approved car alarm with 5 stars rating. There are 2 immobilizers, black wiring, glass break sensor and back-up siren in the alarm. The big advantage for this alarm is the alarm has 2 long life remote controllers. Installed price from $458 inclusive.
*There is some very important information for car alarm installation
a. For European & American cars, the newest model of a car, and the car with push start, the cost of the car alarm installation for these types of cars will be more than standard cost, additional labour charge ranges from $60 to $ 150 inclusive. Please communicate with our store for specific quotations.
b. Some accessories may be required when doing car alarm installation. Such as door actuator costs from $90 – $150 including labour; door lock /unlock relays from $60 to $90 including labour, etc.
c. Please note, not all cars can install car security devices. Please let us know the full details about your vehicle prior you want an alarm to be done in our store.
