The Cost of Installation
1. Standard labour charge for car stereo installation.
a. If the unit bought in our shop, labour for installation from $70 inclusive
b. If the unit bought from somewhere else, labour for installation from $90 inclusive.
c. If there are steering wheel control connections on the unit, labour for connecting SWC (steering wheel control)* from $15 inclusive.
d. If there is a rear camera input on the unit, labour for connecting the original car rear camera from $60 inclusive.
*NOTE: There may need a SWC interface to connect car steering control to the unit for most Euro & America cars, and some newer model Japanese & South Korean cars. The SWC interface costs from $110 depending on the cars.
2. Standard labour charge for sound system installation.
   a. Labour for the amplifier and subwoofer which was bought in our shop, installation costs from $150 inclusive.
   b. Labour for customers own amplifier and subwoofer, installation labour costs from $160 inclusive.
   c. Labour for a pair of speakers which bought in our shop, installation labour costs from $70 inclusive.
   d. Labour for a pair of customers own speakers, installation labour costs from $80 inclusive.
3. Installation accessories requirement and costs.
All the installation costs above do not include accessories cost. There are some accessories required for most of the car stereo and sound system installation.
   a. Fitting Kit. Some cars require an installation of a fitting kit. To find out the price of a particular fitting kit, please go to the top banner of the main page “Find Fitting Kit for your Vehicle”.
   b. Pocket, Side-trim and Surround frame. Please refer to the web page “Product Category – Accessories – Frames & Pockets”, cost from $10 inclusive.
   c. Antenna Adaptor. Please find it through “Product Category – Accessories – Antenna Adaptors”, cost from $5 inclusive.
   d. Aerial Booster. Some of the Euro cars may need an aerial booster to get AM & FM stations, see “Product Category – Accessories – Aerial Booster”, cost from $15 inclusive.
